Every aspect of the practice revolves around delivering the best patient experience, which includes excellence in patient education as well as restorative, functional, and cosmetic care. Dr. Porter, an award-winning dentist, and his team strive to exceed the expectations of every patient.
“I am one of those people with major dental anxiety,” Meredith M. says in a patient review. “I found Charlotte Dental Arts a few years ago, and my dental experience has forever been changed. The entire experience with Charlotte Dental Arts has been nothing short of amazing.”
A native of Charlotte, Dr. Porter is one of the most skilled and respected dentists in the region—and his thirst for knowledge always keeps him on the cutting edge. He has consistently pursued additional education in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry since he started his private practice more than 25 years ago.
Early in his career, he received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (achieved by only 6 percent of U.S. dentists) and has completed all continuing education at the renowned Pankey Institute. Dr. Porter trains and mentors dentists locally and nationally, and he’s a visiting faculty member at CEREC Doctors, a digital training facility based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Practice services include all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, sleep dentistry, implants, Invisalign®, CEREC® single-visit crowns, and sedation dentistry. The practice provides gentle and pain-free dentistry, including a full sedation dentistry suite, digital technology that translates to single visits, and state-of-the-art treatment rooms designed for comfort.
Charlotte Dental Arts is committed to delivering the safest and most patient-centered care. The practice utilizes the latest in digital radiography to minimize patients’ exposure to radiation, and it uses carefully selected, safe biocompatible materials to benefit patients’ overall health.
“We always put our patients’ needs first and treat them like family,” Dr. Porter says. “We explain every detail of care to make all aspects of dentistry clear, and we focus on prevention to save patients time and money.”
